Side Panels

2. Grommets
The right side panel can be removed to
gain access to the adjustment tool and
the rear brake fluid reservoir.
To remove either side panel, grasp the
panel firmly in both hands and pull the
panel away from the motorcycle until it
clears the three retaining grommets
(leaving the grommets in place).
To re-install, position the three locating
dowels to the grommets, then press
firmly to secure the panel.
Finally, grasp the panel and make sure
that it is fully retained.
Tool Kit and Owner’s
Handbook

1. Adjustment tool
The tool kit consists of an adjustment
tool. The adjustment tool is attached to
the inside of the right hand side panel.
There are two C-spanners located under
the seat on the Thruxton R.
To gain access to the Owner’s
Handbook, remove the seat (see
page
56).
Street Twin
The Owner’s Handbook is located on the
underside of the seat.
Thruxton, Thruxton R and
Bonneville T120
The Owner’s Handbook is located under
the seat on the rear fender.
