WARNING
Your warranty may be voided if returned sensor is received as a result of
inadequate packaging.
At the time of delivery, the user should examine the shipment for loss or damage.
If there is evidence of loss or damage, note it on the delivery receipt; this will be
used as evidence to back up the claim. Do not use or install a defective device.
6.2
Condensation Avoidance
If the PS Range Module is suddenly brought in from the cold into a warm room,
condensation may form on the optics, and internal parts. To prevent
condensation, first put the sensor in the transport box, then in a sealed plastic bag
and let it adjust to the warmer temperature before taking it out of the bag.
If condensation forms on the sensor, do not use the PS Range Module. This is to
avoid damaging the electronics. If there is condensation, remove the power supply
from the PS Range Module, and wait until the condensation has evaporated.
6.3
Mechanical Mounting
The PS Range Module can be fitted with socket head screws with washers on
seven M3 thread holes on the rear side, screw-in depth max. 10 mm.
Maximum tightening torque is 12 Nm.
