Raider Installation and Operation Rev. 1.4.2

Transmit Audio connections

Remove the 10 volt regulator card from the card shelf. Locate pads 13 and 14. Cut the wire
connecting these two points. This disconnects the local mic amp. Connect the TX audio output
from the Raider to the pins shown on the backplane.

PTT connections

The PTT out of the Raider can be used directly to key the GE Master II transmitter. Connect the
PTT output from the Raider to the PTT on the backplane screw as shown.

DC power

The Raider should be connected directly to the
12 volt power source, not to the backplane.
Digital audio noise can be picked up and
transmitted if proper power connections are not made.
