U - User Parameters - Continued

CTCSS/DCS Overlay

The Raider controller supports three signaling formats, CTCSS, DCS, and LTR. If the CTCSS/
DCS overlay is disabled, the user will be LTR. If CTCSS/DCS overlay is enabled, the user will be
conventional and a three digit CTCSS/DCS number will need to be entered.

NOTE:

The default protocol in the Raider is LTR.

CTCSS/DCS Mode

This parameter selects whether the number entered on the line above is the value of a CTCSS Tone
or a DCS Code. The only options available are CTCSS Operation or DCS Operation.

Audio Companding

Audio companding is not available on the Raider controller and this option cannot be changed.

Full Duplex

The Raider controller always operates in full duplex. This option has been permanently set at the
factory and cannot be changed.

User is VALID

This option is used to Validate a customer. If the user is changed to invalid, the user's radio will
handshake with the system but no audio will be passed. All receiving radios will remain muted.
