D - Download Airtime Data

The airtime that has accrued for each ID can be downloaded from the Raider to an office computer
for further processing, billing, etc. You must be familiar enough with the communications program
you are using to be able to initiate the download when the computer notifies you that "Downloading
is ready" (see example below).

To abort the download, press ESC then press X.

Note:

Please refer to your communications program documentation for download procedure.

It is recommended that you use the XMODEM (checksum) protocol for the download. This is a
universal protocol for transferring data between computers. The sending station (Raider) sends a
block of data 128 bytes in length to the receiving station. The data includes a block number, control
characters, data and checksum.

The receiving station checks for the proper order and the checksum. If the data shows an error, the
data is rejected and a NACK (Not Acknowledged) is sent to the sending station. The sending station
will, in turn, send the data block again. The sending station will retry a maximum of 10 times before
quitting and reverting back to the prompt. If the data was correct, the receiving station sends an
ACK (acknowledged) to the sending station and the next block of data is sent.

If there is not enough data to fill the 128 byte block, spaces (20H) are used as fill characters, with
a Carriage Return (0DH) and Line Feed (0AH) at the end.

C - Clear Airtime Data

Logged airtime can be cleared after a successful download has taken place. Always remember to
check all downloaded data to make sure that it is intact and that all of the data has been properly
downloaded into your computer. After you are sure that all data has been transferred correctly, use
the Clear Logged Airtime Data command.
