Calibration of the altimeter
For a precise measurement you
need to calibrate the altimeter
as frequently as possible.
NOTE: The altitude is calibrated
independently in all modes. If,
for example, the absolute alti-
tude is selected, the infl uence
of the pressure at sea level of
the previous setting is ignored.
Retrieving hourly altitude
records
There are four options for
calibration:
Setting zero altitude
The watch can measure the
relative altitude. You can e.g.
measure the increasing or
decreasing altitude between
starting point and fi nishing
point of your hike. For this
the current altitude must be
set to “0” e.g. at the begin-
