The bearing of an object is
defi ned as the angular difference
between north and the object.
For north 0° is assumed, the
measuring range is from 0°
to 359°.

from a point is displayed as
the compass direction (e.g.
“NW” for Northwest) and as
a bearing in degrees (e.g.
