Recommended Installation Procedure

1.  Frame  the  opening  for  the  fireplace.    We  suggest  omitting  the  framing  above  the  header  to

allow  for  easier  vent  installation.

2.  Place  the  fireplace  in  place,  making  sure  it  is  level  and  plumb.    Attach  using  the  nailing

brackets.

3.  Install  the  vent,  gas  line,  electrical  connection,  and  battery  box.

4.  Install  the  framing  above  the  header.

5.  Install  the  hearth  (if  applicable).

6.  Install  the  included  non-combustible  fiber  board.

7.  Install  the  facing.

8.  Install  the  mantel  (if  applicable).

9.  Finalize  the  installation  (see  page  35).
