If external connecting cables are to be used for an
emergency starting, follow this procedure:
Important:
Your tractor is equipped with a 12 Volt electric
system. Therefore, the other vehicle should also be
12 Volts. Do not use the battery of your tractor to
start other vehicles.
Connecting the external cables
1. Connect one end of the red cable to the positive
terminal (+) of each battery (A-B) taking care not to
touch it on the tractor chassis, as shown in Image 31;
2. Connect one end of the Black cable to the negative
terminal (-) (C) of the fully charged battery;
3. Connect the other end of the black cable (D) to a
good ground point on the chassis, away from the
fuel tank and battery.
Removing the external cables
1. First remove the black cable from the chassis and
then from the fully charged battery;

Replacing the battery
Notice!
Avoid short-circuiting the battery terminals;
do not allow a tool or any other object to get in
contact with the terminals at the same time. Before
connecting the battery, remove any bracelet,
wristwatches, rings, etc. The positive terminal
must be connected first to prevent sparks due to
accidental grounding.
1. Lift the seat base to the raised position;
2. Disconnect the black battery cable first, followed
by the red cable, then remove the battery carefully
from the tractor;
3. Install the new battery; its terminals must be in the
same position as the old battery terminals;
4. First connect the red battery cable to the positive
terminal (+) using the hexagonal bolt and nut as
shown in the image; Tighten securely and cover
the terminal with its cover;
5. Connect the grounding black cable to the negative
terminal (-) with the other bolt and nut assembly.
