1 - Workspace
Inspect the area where the equipment will
be used and remove any stones, pieces of
wood, wire, bone, glass, toys, tree roots and

and animals.
Keep children and bystanders away. When in
use, all persons, especially children, should be
kept at a safe distance from the work area.

2 - Personal safety
Avoid placing hands or feet near rotating parts
or under the machine. Always keep away from
the engine exhaust.
Never carry passengers on the tractor.
Do not allow untrained persons to use the
tractor. The equipment can become dangerous
to the users who are unfamiliar with its
operation.
Stay alert, watch what’s happening, and use
common sense when operating. Do not operate
the equipment when you are tired, distracted
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of inattention may
result in serious risk of injury.
Use safety equipment. Always wear protective
eyewear and hearing protection. By wearing
gloves, reinforced shoes and ear protection,
you increase your safety and reduce the risk
of an accident.
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry, as they may catch on
moving parts of the equipment.
