Blank analysis:

Ensure that the 10ml vial is clean.

Fill the vial with 10ml of the water sample.

Fit the cap and tighten.

Place the vial in the sample chamber, making sure that the arrow marks on the instrument
and vial are aligned.

Press the zero key

Wait until the following is displayed
Sample preparation:

Add one Ammonia No.1 tablet straight from the foil to the water sample.

Crush the tablet using a clean stirring rod, until no large pieces are visible.

Add one Ammonia No.2 tablet straight from the foil to the water sample.

Crush the tablet using a clean stirring rod, until no large pieces are visible.

Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several times until the tablet is dissolved.
Analysis:


Press the Test key

Wait for a reaction period of 10 minutes

After the reaction period, the measurement starts and the result is displayed in mg/l
