4.4 Setting the Date and Time 

The HC1000 has a real time clock that is used to time-stamp stored measurement values and 
calibration data. The below instructions describe initial setup of the date and time values: 
 
1. Press and hold the CAL key for 3 seconds to enter setup mode. 
2. Press 

▲ or ▼ key until the display shows the “DATE” option. 

 

 

     

 
3. Press ENTER key to confirm, the meter shows the currently programmed year. 
 

 

4. Press 

▲ or ▼ key to set the year.   

5. Press ENTER key to confirm, the meter shows the currently programmed date and time. The 
value currently being amended will be flashing. 
 

 

 
6. Press 

▲ or ▼ key to set each value 

7. Press ENTER to cycle through to set each value.
