Changing the power plug
The wires in this main lead are colored in accordance with the following code:
BLUE-NEUTRAL; BROWN-LIVE (OR ACTIVE)
As the colors of the main lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colored markings identifying the
terminals in your plug - PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:
The earth plug pin is unnecessary. As the machine is designed under double insulation structure, the earth wire
is removed from the machine. The wire colored BROWN must be connected to the terminal marked L or A or
colored RED. The wire colored BLUE must be connected to the terminal marked N or colored BLACK. Neither
wire is to be connected to the earth terminal of a three-pin plug.
Warning
Use an AC 220 to 240 V power source.
Not doing so could cause an electric shock or a fire.
Do not allow the power cord to be damaged, modified, excessively bent, pulled or twisted.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a cord designed specifically for this model.
Warning
When changing the power plug or cord, do not allow it to be repaired, disassembled or
modified, except at an authorized dealer or service center.

If, for any reason, the power plug of this product is removed, it should be immediately
disposed of safely and not stored where it could be inadvertently used again.

switch to “turn off” the sewing machine.
