Coat  the  valve  with  engine  oil  and  check  t h a t   i t   falls 
smoothly  into  t h e  valve  hole by its own  weight. 

I f  

opera tion  is  nOI  as  specified,  replace  the relief  valve. 

If 

neceSSary,  replace  the  oil  pump  body.
