Vent pipe:

Install vent pipe through the wall thimble and attach to flue outlet collar on top of the fireplace. Secure all joints with
screws and seal with approved "High Temp." self-adhesive aluminum tape provided.

Adjust the venting so that the vent pipe does not protrude beyond the outer wall.

Wall vent terminal:

1.

Engage the terminal with the vent pipe and slide terminal into place. Ensure that both inner and outer pipes are fully
engaged and then attach the terminal to the outside wall. The vent terminal must not be recessed into the exterior
wall or siding.

2. Caulk in place to prevent any moisture entering the building.

NOTE: MINIMUM CLEARANCES TO THE VENT TERMINAL MUST BE MAINTAINED. See Figure 42.
