The NV / PV (Natural Vent / Power Vent) switch (Figure 31)
on the interface board (Figure 27) is set according to which
type of evacuating vent system is present. If the fireplace is
vented without the assistance of a power vent, the switch
must be set to “NV”. If using a power vent, “PV” must be
selected.
Follow the instructions provided with the power vent kit for
proper installation.

If the wall switch is being connected to a Home Automation system, two cables will be used; the top cable
will go from the wall switch to the fireplace and the bottom cable will go from, the wall switch to the Home
Automation system Figure 32 .
If not using a Home Automation system, only the upper cable will be used to go from the wall switch to the
fireplace Figure 29.
Important Note:
When switching between PV and NV, the electrical
power supply to the fireplace must be turned off and the
backup batteries removed to properly re-set the module
