Troubleshooting
Check the following before having the product repaired.
When there is a trouble with the NEOREST, please read this section to find a solution.
When all the above has been checked, goto the “Checking problems” section on the next page.

Check the light on the top unit display

When the power plug is inserted in the outlet, the soft light will
flash for somwhere between 10 seconds to a minute. During this
period, the seat sensor A is initializing. The auto lid open/close
feature will not function unitl the sensor is done initializing, but the
lid and seat can still be operated using the remote control.

Is the POWER light on?
If the POWER light is on
If the POWER light is not on
Are other lights besides the POWER light?
If the ENERGY SAVER light is on, the energy saver is activated.
If other lights are off and the POWER light is flashing, the product in antifreeze mode.
Are all the lights off?
Check if the following step cause the POWER light to come one
Remove the obstacles or clean the signal emmitting area.
Then check if the batteries are installed properly.
The batteries are dead, please replace them.
Is the LCD display on the remote control completely off?
Is shown on the remote control display
Check if the signal emitting area on the remote and the signal recieving area on the top unit
are covered, dirty or wet.
Push the on/off button on the top unit control area.
Check if the power has failed or the breaker is opened. If so, wait untill power is available or close the breaker.
