Route the display cable in the ridge along the bottom of the back cover. Then gently press
the mylar shielding to secure the cable in place (Figure 4-39).

Connect the display cables on the left side of the display to CN1, CN2, and CN3 on the
LCD (Figure 4-37).

Place the LCD module in the back cover. Position and secure the mylar shielding over the
LCD cables on the left side of the LCD module. Secure the module in place with the three
M2x6 screws and one washer (Figure 4-36. ).

NOTE: The washer should be installed with the lower left screw.

Connect the FL inverter cables to CN1, CN2, and CN3 on the FL inverter board (Figure 4-
35). Rotate the board into position, making sure the volume and contrast knobs pass
through the cutouts in the back cover. Then attach the adhesive mylar tab to the bottom of
the FL inverter board shielding. Secure the FL inverter board in place with the two M2x6
screws (Figure 4-35).

7.

Align the display mask over the LCD display panel. Be careful not to damage the lower
portion of the mask that covers the hinges.

8.

Snap the eleven latches on the display mask in place. Check to make sure the seam be-
tween the display mask and back cover is evenly seated around the display (Figure 4-34).

9.

Secure the display mask in place with the two M2.5x6 bottom screws and two M2x6 top
screws. Then cover the screws with the rubber cushions at the top of the display and the
rubber seals at the bottom of the display.
