4.9  Top Cover assembly 

Removing the Top cover assembly 

Top assembly will be removed during the disassembly of the display, so please see the 
procedure of it. (See figure 4-9-1 to 4-9-4) 

1.

 

Remove battery, HDD door, ODD and HDD. 

2.

 

Remove the following screws securing base

 

and top. (see figure 4-9-1)

Remove the KB (see 4.6) and remove the following screws securing the top.

Disconnect the speaker cable, power FFC, button FFC and LCD cable following the 
direction of arrows.( Figure 4-9-2)
