4.10 Touch pad  

Removing the touch pad 

The following describes the procedure for removing the touch pad (See Figure 4-10-1 to 4-
10-2). 

1.

 

Peel off the

 

protect Mylar and disconnect the button FFC from the connector on the 

touch pad.

Remove the following 

screws

 securing the button bracket.

Remove the following 

screws

 securing the button board.

Remove the bracket

 

from the top cover assembly following the arrows. (Figure 4-10-

Peel off the touch pad from the top assembly.
