4.3 HDD

Removing HDD-H9.5mm

The following describes the procedure for removing the HDD (See Figure 4-3-1 to 4-3-3).

CAUTION:

Take care not to press on the top or bottom of a HDD. Pressure may cause

data loss or damage to the device.

Turn the computer upside down.

Remove the battery.

Loosen the following

screws

securing HDD Door and then remove the door.



Remove the following

screws

securing the

HDD assembly

and ODD





FLAT BIND screw

Remove ODD and then disconnect the

HDD assembly

from the connector on the

system board
