RAV indoor Units (B, C, K, U, TU, TU-1)

This enables two indoor units to be connected to a single outdoor unit. Operation of both units will be
identical. These will be controlled as one unit, using a single remote controller.

To enable cooling only indoor units to be twinned the accessory RBC-TK45ESCO is required.

Both indoor units must be in the same room.

Both indoor units must be of identical types, for example, both 2-Way Cassettes.

The units listed below may be twinned:

Wiring

l

Connect the outdoor, twin kit and the indoor units in the following sequence:

(1)

Connect together the terminals 1, 2 and 3 on both the outdoor unit and twin kit ensuring that
the terminals are matched up correctly.

(2) Connect together the terminals 1, 2 and 3 from the twin kit to both the indoor units.

Connect the remote controller and the indoor unit in the following sequence:
(1)

Connect together the terminals A, B and C on both the remote controller and indoor unit No.1
ensuring that the terminals are matched up correctly.

(2) Connect together terminals B and C on indoor units No.1 and No. 2.

l

Remove the CN12 connector from indoor unit No. 2, but leave connected in indoor unit No. 1.

l

Set the rotary switch SW02 to ‘1’ for indoor unit No. 1 and ‘2’ for indoor unit No. 2.
