4 Replacement Procedures

PORTEGE M300 Maintenance Manual (960-504)

Installing the switch membrane

To install the switch membrane, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-13.

Slide and set the

switch membrane

along the guide and secure it with the following

screws

M2.0

3.0S

S-THIN FLAT BIND screw

Connect the switch membrane to the connector

CN3270

on the system board.

CAUTION:

When connecting the switch membrane, be careful not to connect it slantwise

and be sure to lock the connector.

Install the

switch cover

and secure it with the following

screw

M2.0

3.0S

S-THIN FLAT BIND screw

CAUTION:

When installing the switch cover, put the tab of switch membrane into the

switch cover.
