About the Built-in Battery
●
The built-in battery discharges gradually when the player is not in use. After leaving
the player for an extended period of time, you may find that the battery has become
completely discharged. If this happens, recharge the battery prior to use.

Actual recharging time may differ depending on battery condition and ambient
temperature.
At room temperature (25
°
C), and using the supplied AC adapter, recharging is
complete in about 3 and half hours*.

Playback time is reduced when the player is operated at low temperature.

The built-in battery can be recharged up to 500 times (approx.). (Actual recharges may
differ depending on conditions and environment under which the product is used.)

If the operation time diminishes, the battery may have deteriorated. Replace the
battery with a new one.

For battery replacement, consult the store of purchase.
●
Toshiba Corporation is not liable for data damage or loss caused by product
malfunction, repair, or complete discharge of the built-in battery.
About the Disposing of the Built-in Battery
An advanced lithium-ion rechargeable battery has been used as the built-in
battery. An advanced lithium-ion rechargeable battery is recyclable valuable
resource. When you dispose of this player, remove the battery, and please
recycle according to the local regulations.
Do not disassemble the unit, except to dispose of the battery.
