Turning the Power On/Off

Before starting

Slide the battery switch to “Supply”. (

 page 20)

Attach the AC adapter when using the player for the first time after purchase or
when the remaining power of the built-in battery nearly exhausted. (

 page 20)

Turning the Power On

Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (

) for more

than 2 seconds.

NOTES

To turn the power on, you may also press the Select button (

 / 

 /   /  ), MENU

button, or NAVI button for more than 2 seconds.

You cannot turn the power on or off with the Hold switch on. Release the Hold lock,
then press the button.

Turning the Power Off

Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (

) for more

than 2 seconds.

NOTE

Power will be automatically turned off if no operation is performed for approximately 3
minutes except when audio data is being played back or when the USB port is
connected.
