Test run
Before test run
Check valve of the refrigerant pipe of the outdoor unit is “OPEN”.
• Using 500 V-megger, check there is 1 M
Ω
or more between the terminal block of the power supply and the earth. If the value
is below 1 M
Ω
, do not operate the air conditioner.
WARNING
• In order to protect the compressor, keep the power ON for a period of 12 hours or more before starting the air conditioner.
How to perform a test run
In case of test run on the wired remote controller
Check the operation of the air conditioner in usual operation by the wired remote controller.
For the procedure of the operation, refer to the attached Owner’s Manual.
For a case of using a wireless remote controller, refer to the Installation Manual of the indoor unit.
A forced test run is available in the following procedure under condition that the thermostat-OFF in the room.
In a forced test run, the test run is cleared after operation for 60 minutes and then returns to the usual operation in order to
prevent a serial operation.
NOTE
Do not use the forced test run for cases other than the test
run because it applies an excessive load to the air
conditioner.

on the display part and the mode changes to test run mode.

• The temperature cannot be adjusted during test run.

In case of test run on the interface P.C. board of the outdoor unit
This air conditioner has a function which executes a test run by operation of the switches on the interface P.C. board of the
outdoor unit.
This function is classified into “Individual test run” which performs a test run individually in each indoor unit and “Collective test
run” which performs a test run for all the connected indoor units.
