If the oil level is low, remove the fill cap and add

Install the oil-fill cap and dipstick.

Close the engine cover and secure it with the
latches.

Changing the Engine Oil and Filter
Service Interval:
Every 500 hours—Change the
engine oil and filter.
1.
Remove the drain plug and let the oil flow into a
drain pan (

When all the oil is drained, install the drain plug
and tighten it to 54 to 63 N∙m (39 to 47 in-lb).
3.
Remove the oil filter.
4.
Apply a light coat of clean oil to the oil filter
gasket.
5.
Thread the oil filter onto the engine until it
contacts the mounting surface, and tighten the
filter an additional turn.
Important:
Do not overtighten the filter.

Add oil to the crankcase; refer to

the engine ECU after you install a clean DPF.
