Maintenance

Servicing the Fuel System

Draining the Fuel Tank

Service Interval:

Every 800 hours (also if the fuel system is

contaminated).

Use clean fuel to flush out the tank.

Inspecting the Fuel Lines and
Connections

Service Interval:

Every 400 hours

Inspect the fuel lines and connections for deterioration,
damage, or loose connections.

Servicing the Water Separator

Service Interval:

Before each use or daily—Drain water

or other contaminants from the water
separator.

Every 400 hours—Replace the filter canister.

Service the water separator as shown in

Figure 52

.
