Traction-Drive Lever
The traction-drive lever ( Figure 14 ) is located on the
front right side of the control panel. It has 2 positions:
N
EUTRAL
and F
ORWARD
. Pushing the lever forward
engages the traction drive.
Throttle Control
The throttle control ( Figure 14 ) is located on the rear,
right side of the control panel. The lever connects to
and operates the throttle linkage to the carburetor.

Specifications (page 15) for the engine speed.
On/Off Switch
The On/Off switch ( Figure 14 ) is located on the top of
the control panel. Move the switch to the O
N
position
to start the engine and the O
FF
position to shut off
the engine.
Service Brake
The service brake ( Figure 15 ) is located on the top
left, front side of the control panel. You can use the
brake to slow or stop the machine.
