7.0 Troubleshooting Guide
TROUBLE

B. Blower motor starts, but
does not keep running

1. Filter element damage,
dents in the end caps,
gasket damage or holes in
pleated media.
2. Filter wing nuts are loose.
1. Blower rotation backwards.
2. Collector openings not tight
or closed.
1d. Check that the supply
circuit has sufficient power
to run all equipment.
1. Replace the filter elements.
Use only Torit-Built filter
elements (see Figure 1

2. Tighten filter wing nuts
securely (see Figure 1

1. Check blower rotation.
The rotation should be
clockwise, looking down on
top of the blower motor

2. Check that access panels
are in place and tightened
securely (see Figure 1
