5-6. Setting Operating Parameters

CAUTION

Do not exceed the maximum allowable RCF of the tube.

●

Failure to do so may break the tube and cause the rotor to fall off during

spinning.

When the mass density of the sample exceeds 1.2 g/cm

, do not

centrifuge at speed exceeding the maximum allowable speed of the

rotor which is respectively calculated.

●

An excessive speed may damage the rotor, bucket or rack, thereby causing

the rotor to fall off during spinning.

Press the key. A single "pip" sounds.

The temperature display switches from the actual value to the set value and begins to flash.

Turn the Jog Dial to set a desired temperature.

Temperature setting range : -9℃ to 35℃ (in one degree increments)

Set temperatures referring to "11-2. Cooling Capacity" on page in this Operator's Manual for

controllable temperature range.

After setting the temperature, leave it for approximately two seconds to finalize the setting. The

temperature display stops flashing and returns to the actual value from the set value.
