Load samples into each tube ensuring that the load capacity does not exceed the actual
maximum achieved capacity of the tube.

When using tubes with a capacity exceeding 2.0 ml,
Before using centrifuge tubes, check the specifications of the tubes, referring to“11-4. Rotor
Specifications and List of Applicable Tubes”. When using commercially available tubes which
are not included on the list referred to above, always consult us prior to use. Inspect centrifuge
tubes carefully before each use. Sterilization or disinfection may deleteriously affect the strength
of the tube.

To calculate the maximum allowable rotor speed using the mass density of the sample
>
When centrifuging samples which mean density exceed 1.2 g/cm
3
, it is necessary to reduce the
maximum allowable rotor speed. By measuring the mass density of the sample, the revised
maximum speed can be calculated using the following formula:
Allowable rotor speed(rpm)=max speed(rpm)× 1.2/mean density of sample (g/cm
3
)
※
The actual maximum achieved capacity of the tube should be equal to 70% of the total tube capacity.
After loading samples, ensure that tubes to be placed symmetrically about the rotor axis are
filled equally using a balancer.
②
※
Keep the weight difference between the opposite tubes to be equal to or less than 0.2g.
Load samples into each microtube ensuring that the load capacity does not exceed the actual
maximum achieved capacity of the tube.

♦
When using microtubes with a capacity not exceeding 2.0 ml,
※
The actual maximum achieved capacity of the tube should be equal to 70% of the total tube capacity.
After loading samples, ensure that tubes to be placed symmetrically about the rotor axis are
filled equally by eye.
