MAINTENANCE IN COLD CONDITION
Infuse anti-freezing fluid
When the temperature is below 0°C, the inside of the pump can
be frozen up. Then you can’t start the engine. And could have
some damages in the pump.
In order to prevent internal corrosion and damage by the
water frozen in the pump, drain all the water from the pump
unit. After draining the water, put antifreeze fluid into the pump
and vacuum pump.
1. Open the drain valves.
Drain all the water from the pump.
2. Close the drain valve(s).
3. Attach the
plastic tube to the pump drain valve and open
the valve at the pump case.
4. Insert the plastic tube in the container filled with antifreeze
fluid (180ml/0.04gal-200 ml/0.05gal).
Set the suction port cap to the suction port..
5. Set the throttle dial at “SUCTION
・
START” position.
Set the main switch at ”ON” position.(For V20ES and
V20D2S)
