ENGINE START

This model is equipped with an automatic
chock carburetor.
This has no chock lever for manual.

1. Turn the fuel valve to open position, this will allow fuel

to flow to the carburetor.

2. Set the throttle dial to the “SUCTION START” position.

3. Turn the main switch to the start position.(V20ES,V20D2S)

Release the main switch immediately after the engine
starts.

1. Extended operation of the starter motor will run the battery drain.

Operate the starter motor within maximum 3 seconds.
If the engine does not start, wait for over 5 seconds before
operating the starter motor again.

2. Do not operate the starter motor after engine started.
3. If the starter motor does not work, check that the battery terminals

are tightly connected and the battery is fully charged.

* If the electric starter does not work to start the engine, use manual (recoil) starter.
