Subscriber
Name
Enter the subscriber’s name here.
Call number
The telephone system manages internal phone numbers consisting of 1 to 20 digits
each. It is recommended to standardise the number of digits for internal phone num-
bers. For a point-to-point interface, the DDI should be the same as the internal phone
number (subscriber). Example:
Main number 428 / internal number 12
=> Number for subscriber 12 = 42812
Voicemail box no.
The voicemail box number to be used for the current subscriber can be selected he-
re. If no alternatives are indicated here, you may have forgotten to register a voice-
mail system in the menu Settings –> Voicemail System.
The number of available voicemail boxes depends upon the voicemail system used.
The voicemail box will finally be activated by means of the system telephone tiptel
82/83 system or – in case of analogue or ISDN telephones – by means of call for-
warding to the voicemail box.
Password
After accessing one subscriber’s configuration menu, you have to enter a user name
(subscriber name) and a password. Enter the desired password here.
Authorisations
Exchange authorisation
Individual exchange authorisation can be assigned to each subscriber for outgoing
calls. The following authorisation levels are available:

No exchange authorisation
•
National exchange authorisation
•
International exchange authorisation
Special numbers (where available and released) and emergency numbers can over-
ride the exchange authorisation set.
Requirement: An MSN/DDI for outgoing calls must be selected for the subscriber.
