If you want your PC to automatically be assigned with an IP address by your tele-
phone system, select Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server ad-
dress automatically (if this is not already set by default).
If you want to assign your PC with an IP address manually, select use following IP
address and enter the desired IP address in the first line; enter the related subnet
mask in the second line and the 822XT / 822XT rack IP address in the third line. Make
sure that the PC’s IP address has the same address range as your telephone system
and that the subnet mask is identical with the one of your telephone system.
Finally, select Use following DNS server addresses. Also enter your telephone sys-
tems' IP address in the first line here.
Complete the configuration by pressing OK to confirm your settings.
Your PC may prompt you to restart. Confirm this with Yes. This concludes the con-
figuration of your Windows 2000 PC.
