3.4.2 Switching

OFF

To switch off the transmitter:

(1)

Set the POWER ON/OFF on transmitter to switch to OFF.

(2)

Verify that all indicator LED's on the front panel are OFF.

NOTE

When the transmitter is switched OFF there is no current drain from
external DC.

3.4.3

EXTERNAL DC OPERATION

(1)

Set AC ON/OFF switch to OFF.

(2)

Refer to Figure 3.1 for External DC Power Connections.

NOTE

Ensure that the DC source voltage does not exceed 30 Vdc. The 15
watt and 25 watt units can operate within the range 21.6 Vdc to 30
Vdc. The Low Power units can operate within the range of 11.5 Vdc
to 15 Vdc.
