HALO Users Manual
Revision G
27
The
Outputs & Comm
settings
tab allows selection of several user selectable settings. Simply touch the
text box of the value you wish to change, or select a radio button, or check box.
The 4-20 mA out range value is used for setting the output range of the isolated 4-20 mA output. A zero
ppb reading will always be represented by a 4 mA output. The value in the “4-20 mA Range” text box will
be represented by the maximum 20 mA signal.
The user can set two level alarm points to trip the two Form-C relays when the measured concentration
exceeds the value specified by the user. When one of these alarms is in effect, the “Alarm 1” or “Alarm 2”
text on the Alarm Status area of the Main Display will turn red, and show the text “AL” instead of “OK”.
The “Use DHCP” and Ethernet fields are used to configure the unit’s IP addresses.
The user may select any of the displayed baud rates by selecting the appropriate radio button.
Regardless of the baud rate, the HALO will always use No Parity, 8 Data Bits, and 1 Stop Bit.
After configuring the Outputs and Comm settings you can select another tab on the settings window, or
close the settings window using the ‘X’ box on the window’s title bar.
