TXP5016

Check the Windows Device Manager for the topic

Ports (COM & LPT)

. Expand it and

remember the assigned COM port (here COM3):

Note

The TXP5016 serial interface works with a transfer rate from 9600 to 115200 bps, 8N1
protocol.

Make sure, the TXP5016 is switched on and the serial connection is made. Open from the Start
button the TXP Administrator:

Click

Connect

in the menu bar.

Select the connection type to

Serial Line (RS232)

and the Serial Port to

COMx

, as stated in

the device manager. Then click

Connect

. The TXP Administrator connects to the device and

reads out the device information.
