The figure below shows the SpeedTouch™ interface architecture.

Configuration procedure

The configuration of an interface always exists of following three steps:

Creating the interface.

Configuring the interface.

Attaching the interface to its lower layer interface.

Every packet service consists of the configuration of different interfaces on top of
each other.

In this document interfaces are configured by means of:
