Permanent marking: Remove the locking pin from the opening on the hand lever. The heat-seal rubber is now
held with a spring in an angled position (see figure 4-5). This means that the label is pulled a little to the left
when heat-sealing and the full surface is heat-sealed. A tear-off tab is therefore not produced.

5 Operation of the control unit
5.1 Operating display
Different messages appear one after the other when switching on the machine.
After a welcome message, the
version number of the control
is displayed. Then the current operating mode is
shown (temporary marking or permanent marking). The standard display then appears:

Temperature: The current temperature is shown here. The set working temperature has not been
achieved yet if the display is flashing. If this is the case, wait until this display no longer
flashes
•
Heat-seal time: Shows how long the garment with the label will be pressed onto the heating element. The
time of the heat-seal process is counted down to zero and the pointer on the clock symbol
moves backwards.

Label length: Shows whether a short or long label is being printed
•
Counter:
Shows the label counter (only visible if “automatic printing” is activated)
•
Current text:
This text is being printed.
