At the end of the test, select:

to print the results.

Save
to save the results to the USB drive.
The results are saved to the file tnuEvents.txt.

If the test fails, repeat the procedure. Ensure the:
• Cables are not damaged (no nicks, cuts or crimps) and are securely seated in the digital
thermometer and in the instrument.
• Heated cover is closed.
• Results are saved or printed.
6.
If the test fails again, contact Technical Support.
TVK recalibration
It is recommended to recalibrate your Temperature Verification Kit once a year.
Calibrating the thermometer and probe of the Temperature Verification Kit requires that you:
• Decontaminate the probe assembly as described below.
• Send the equipment and the completed Certificate of Instrument Decontamination to the
manufacturer. See Appendix G, “Documentation and support”.
Decontaminating the probe assembly
1.
Contact your local customer care center or technical support group to obtain a copy of the
Certificate of Instrument Decontamination.
2.
Gently wipe the probe cones with a cotton swab that has been moistened with a 1:10 v/v solution
of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (Clorox bleach).
IMPORTANT!
Do not submerge the probe in bleach solution. Do not disassemble the probe
assembly.
3.
Complete the Certificate of Instrument Decontamination.
