
About folders
Each run method is saved in a folder. There are three folders available by default:
• Default – Run methods are stored here if you do not select another folder. Run methods stored
in this folder can be accessed, edited, run, and deleted only by the user who created them. The
Default
folder has a blue button.
• Shared – Run methods can be accessed, edited, run, and deleted by any user. In the
Browse
Folders
screen, the
Shared
folder has a blue button.
• USB – This folder shows all run methods on the USB drive. If a USB drive is present in the
instrument, this button is blue, otherwise it is grey.
In addition, you may create up to nine custom folders. In a custom folder, run methods can be
accessed, edited, run, and deleted only by the user who created them. In the
Manage Folders
screen,
custom folders have a yellow button.
You can create a new folder when you save a run method (see step 6
) or you can create
one by selecting
New
in the
Manage Folders
screen.
Deleting custom folders
You can delete any custom folder. When you delete a custom folder, all run methods in that folder are
also deleted.

In the
Main Menu
screen, select
Settings Menu
.

In the
Settings Menu
screen, select
Manage Folders
.

In the
Manage Folders
screen, select the button for the folder you want to delete, then select
Delete
.

Select
Yes
in the dialog box that opens, then
OK
. The folder is deleted.

When you are done making changes to folders, select
(Close)
to return to the
Settings Menu
screen.
Renaming custom folders
You can rename any custom folder.
1.
In the
Main Menu
screen, select
Settings Menu
.
2.
In the
Settings Menu
screen, select
Manage Folders
.
3.
In the
Manage Folders
screen, select the button for the folder you want to rename, then select
Rename
.
4.
Enter up to 12 characters for the folder's new name, then select
Done
to return to the
Manage
Folders
screen.
