flow cells. Therefore, you should not use this value for calculating the absorption
coefficient or the detector sensitivity according to the Lambert-Beer law.

TIP

 UltiMate 3000 variable wavelength detector flow cells have the

connection unit on the left side. To connect the column outlet to the
connection unit installed on the left side of the flow cell in a Vanquish
variable wavelength detector, Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends
using the capillary of 450 mm length listed in the table above.
