Installation Checklist
The following installation checklist is a brief summary of the steps you must complete for the
proper installation of the Accela RI Detector:
Unpacking and Inspecting
Carefully remove the detector from the shipping container and inspect both the detector and
the packaging for any signs of damage. If you find any damage, save the shipping materials
and immediately contact the shipping company.
In addition to the Accela RI Detector, the shipping container should contain the following:
• A CD containing the software and documentation
• An accessory kit containing an Ethernet cable with fittings and tubing to connect the
detector (see “Accessory Kit” on page 35 )
If any items are missing, contact your Thermo Fisher Scientific representative immediately.

Unpack and inspect your instrument. See page 10 .

Check the fuses. See page 11 .

Loosen the transport screws. See page 12 .

Provide the proper location and environment. See page 13 .

Make the back panel connections. See page 14 .
U
Connect the inlet and outlet tubing. See page 18 .

Turn on the detector for the first time. See page 21 .
