Checking the Fuses
You can operate the Accela RI Detector at 100/115V or 230V. However, ensure that the
appropriate fuses are installed (
Figure 9 and Table 3 ).

Y To check the fuses
1. Squeeze the lever located to the left of the fuse holder cover located on the back panel of
the Accela RI Detector until you hear a clicking sound.
2. Pull the fuse holder out of the power module ( Figure 10 ).

CAUTION Do not connect the power cord to your instrument without first verifying that
the fuses are correct for the line power at your location! Never connect the detector to, or
operate the detector with, an electrical line source with power fluctuations greater than
10% above or below the nominal rated line voltage!
