Installing a USB Cable Retention Bracket

The USB Cable Retention Bracket is attached to the chassis with three Phillips
head screws, which are shipped with your order (see

Figure 2-24

). Screw

in and firmly tighten each screw.

After connecting a USB cable to one of the rear USB ports, secure it with a
cable tie wrap through one of the tie-down bars of the USB Cable Retention
Bracket (see

Figure 2-24

If necessary, attach a second USB cable to a USB port on either side of the
Retention Bracket and secure it with a cable tie wrap.

Note:

Your RES-XR4-1U is shipped without a USB Cable Retention Bracket in-

stalled (see

Figure 2-24

). Follow the steps of this section to properly install a USB

Cable Retention Bracket.
