System Programming
Advantage
DC
control panel programming options are available via offline PC or
SmartDevice Bluetooth interface programming.
7.1 PC Interface Programming
Before enabling the programming mode, ensure the Advantage
DC
PC Utility is loaded
onto your computer. When installed, the Advantage
DC
PC Utility installs a shortcut to
your PC desktop.

The software default password for the Advantage PC utility is “tfsinc”
As part of the PC Utility installation a PC USB to RS485 Cable and Converter (part no.
830014) is required. This interface module allows a data connection between the
Advantage
DC
control panel and your PC.
Ensure the Advantage
DC
PC utility has been installed on your PC. Once the PC utility is
installed, connect the USB cable from the 830014 Interface Module to the PC and the
circular connector cable to the programming port on the inside front cover of the
Advantage
DC
.
