Disconnect pump drain hose (14) and front reel valve
return hose (15) from tee fitting (16).

Remove tee fitting (16), adapter fitting (17) and union
fitting (1

10. Disconnect cooler return hose (19).

11. Loosen hose clamps (36 and 37), and remove the

upper radiator hose (3

) and lower radiator hose (39)

from the radiator/hydraulic oil cooler assembly.

12. Loosen hose clamps (20 and 22), and disconnect the

upper expansion tank hose (21) and lower expansion
tank hose (23) from the radiator/hydraulic oil cooler
assembly.

13. Remove screw (24), washers (25 and 26) and nut

(27). Remove expansion tank (2

) from the

radiator/hydraulic oil cooler assembly.

14. Disconnect fan electrical connector (29) from mower

harness.

15. Support the fan (35).

16. Remove four screws (30), four lock washers (31),

four flat washers (32), four spacers (33), tank support
(34) and fan (35).

17. Remove two screws (40), flat washers (41), lock

washers (42) and nuts (43).

. Remove three screws (44), lock washers (45), flat

washers (46) and fan shroud (47).

19. Remove two screws (4

), lock washers (49), flat

washers (50) and radiator shroud (51).

20. Support the radiator/hydraulic oil cooler (55).

21. Remove three screws (52), lock washers (53) and flat

washers (54). Lift radiator/hydraulic oil cooler (55) off
the mower.

Installation

Plug hydraulic openings. With radiator hoses
removed from radiator, flush inside of radiator with
fresh water.

Check radiator seal (56) for damage. Replace if
required.

Install radiator/hydraulic oil cooler assembly by
reversing the order of removal.

Tighten oil cooler return hose (19), union (1

) and

adapter fitting (17) to 103-11

lb-ft (140-160 N·m).

Tighten tee fitting (16) to110 (149 N·m).

Tighten hoses (14 and 15) to 65 lb-ft (

-95 N·m).

Fill hydraulic tank with correct hydraulic fluid.
