Lift Arms

Removal and Installation

NOTE

Front right lift arm is shown; all other lift arms are similar.

Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

Remove cutting unit from mower. (See “Cutting Unit”
on page

-22.)

Remove lift cylinder. (See “Lift Cylinders” on
page 6-59.

Figure 8-13

For outside lift arm assemblies, remove lock nut (4),
washers (2), screw (1), and hose support (3).

Remove cotter pin (5), washer (6) and pivot yoke (7).

Remove two screws (

), washers (9), lift plates (10)

and nuts (11).

Remove cotter pin (12) and washer (13). Slide lift
arm (15) out of spring arm (14) and remove second
washer (13).

Remove two screws (17) and stop plate (16).

Remove screws (1

), lock washers (19) and stop

(20).

Installation Notes

• Install lift arms by reversing the order of removal.

• Lubricate grease fittings with grease that meets or

exceeds NLGI Grade 2 LB specifications.
